Art Is Everywhere

I preach to anyone that will listen (especially to my forced audience, my students) that art is everywhere. That was proven true today for the infinite time as I made the short walk from my front door to my mailbox. I was amazed by the beautiful patterns the bright yellow-green pollen made as it washed away over the pavement in the parking lot just outside my door. Here is a still photo and a short video.

Let There Be Light!

I’ll be the first to admit it. It’s been a while since I posted anything new. That’s all gonna change a bit in 2016. Why? Well, you see, I can finally see! I moved into my new place a year ago and found out that I had plenty of light in my studio, that is, plenty of light if I only wanted to work on sunny mornings. That’s not enough options for me or any artist. I needed some more interior lighting in order to really work at home in my new studio.

I’m pleased to announce that I now have light. I had the one existing light improved and four new lights installed. Now I can really get something accomplished.

Let there be light! It’s gonna be a productive year! Stay tuned.
